About

Lien is a Vietnamese artist based in Ho Chi Minh City.
BFA in Studio Art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts,
Tufts University.

Through surveying herself as well as others, she combines lens-based mediums with various tangible and intangible materials (such as transparent tape, 3DCG, risograph printing) to expand on photographic/video-graphic documentations of truth. Her work explores first-person points of view, the human needs for belonging, intimacy, and beauty, and the realities that impede us from fulfilling them.
Lien is currently working at Wedogood, a creative risograph studio and independent publisher; and is a co-founder of  3Năm Studio, an art space in Saigon.
